Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, DEFB1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,857 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible DEFB1-associated genes across cancer lineages are SLPI, KIF13B, and SUPT20H. Each is linked with DEFB1 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both DEFB1-to-partner and partner-to-DEFB1 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, DEFB1 versus SLPI in HNSC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.47.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (DEFB1→partner) and Y-score (partner→DEFB1) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
