The most reproducible DEFA9P-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Positive regulation of DNA recombination, Positive regulation of double-strand break repair via homologous recombination, and Mitochondrial genome maintenance. Each is linked with DEFA9P in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both DEFA9P-to-partner and partner-to-DEFA9P results are reported.
