DEFA6

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, DEFA6 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 262 significant associations in total. SKCM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible DEFA6-associated genes across cancer lineages are NOC2L, HMGN2P21, and RNA5SP411. Each is linked with DEFA6 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both DEFA6-to-partner and partner-to-DEFA6 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, NOC2L grouped by DEFA6-low versus DEFA6-high in SKCM.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (DEFA6→partner) and Y-score (partner→DEFA6) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
