DEFA5

RNA expression — cross-omics
Cross-omicsRNA → FUNCTION-RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, DEFA5 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 5,909 significant associations in total. LGG shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible DEFA5-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Disruption of plasma membrane integrity in another organism, Disruption of cellular anatomical structure in another organism, and Lobar bronchus epithelium development. Each is linked with DEFA5 in more than 15 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both DEFA5-to-partner and partner-to-DEFA5 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, Disruption of plasma membrane integrity in another organism grouped by DEFA5-low versus DEFA5-high in UCEC.

RNA expression associated GO terms by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (DEFA5→partner) and Y-score (partner→DEFA5) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
