Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DEFA10P RNA is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated DEFA10P data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher DEFA10P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DEFA10P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THYM and SARC show a favorable association.
STAD, CESC, and READ are the cancer types where DEFA10P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
