Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DDX3Y Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DDX3Y data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher DDX3Y Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DDX3Y expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC, GBM, and LIHC are the cancer types where DDX3Y Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
