Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DDX3X mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DDX3X data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher DDX3X mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DDX3X expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUAD show a favorable association.

UCEC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where DDX3X mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
