Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DCXR-DT RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated DCXR-DT data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher DCXR-DT RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DCXR-DT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and KIRP show a favorable association.

BRCA, ACC, and KIRC are the cancer types where DCXR-DT RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
