Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DCTD Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DCTD data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher DCTD Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DCTD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA and LIHC are the cancer types where DCTD Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
