Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DCAF5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DCAF5 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher DCAF5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DCAF5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LUSC, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where DCAF5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
