Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DCAF10 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 12 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of DCAF10’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where DCAF10 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types DCAF10 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and KIRC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
THCA, LIHC, and HNSC are the cancer types where DCAF10 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
