Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYP8B1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CYP8B1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher CYP8B1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYP8B1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC show a favorable association.
BLCA, LUSC, and SARC are the cancer types where CYP8B1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
