Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYP4F8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CYP4F8 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher CYP4F8 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYP4F8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, PRAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where CYP4F8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
