Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYP4F24P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 9 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of CYP4F24P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where CYP4F24P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types CYP4F24P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as COAD and KIRP show the opposite, repressed pattern.

COAD, KIRP, and HNSC are the cancer types where CYP4F24P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
