Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYP4F10P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of CYP4F10P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where CYP4F10P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types CYP4F10P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BRCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LIHC, BRCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where CYP4F10P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
