Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYP4B1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CYP4B1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher CYP4B1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYP4B1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM show a favorable association.
PRAD, GBM, and LIHC are the cancer types where CYP4B1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
