Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYP4B1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CYP4B1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CYP4B1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYP4B1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and LSCC show a favorable association.

HNSC, LUAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where CYP4B1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
