Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYP3A52P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 2 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of CYP3A52P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), where CYP3A52P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types CYP3A52P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as CHOL show the opposite, repressed pattern.
CHOL and KIRC are the cancer types where CYP3A52P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
