The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CYP39A1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYP39A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA show a favorable association.
HNSC, LIHC, and ESCA are the cancer types where CYP39A1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
