Across TCGA patient cohorts, CYP26B1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,168 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible CYP26B1-associated genes across cancer lineages are PHF5A, NUDCD1, and NR1D1. Each is linked with CYP26B1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CYP26B1-to-partner and partner-to-CYP26B1 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, CYP26B1 versus PHF5A in BRCA, with a Pearson correlation of -0.51.
