Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYMP-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CYMP-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher CYMP-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYMP-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and READ show a favorable association.

KIRP, ACC, and STAD are the cancer types where CYMP-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
