Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYLC2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CYLC2 data layer compared with 9 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher CYLC2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYLC2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC show a favorable association.
LUAD, COAD, and ACC are the cancer types where CYLC2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
