Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYCTP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CYCTP data layer compared with 11 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher CYCTP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYCTP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM are the cancer types where CYCTP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
