Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYBA mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CYBA data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher CYBA mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYBA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LSCC show a favorable association.

COAD, PDAC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where CYBA mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
