Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CXorf58 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CXorf58 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher CXorf58 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CXorf58 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and PAAD show a favorable association.
KICH, SKCM, and BLCA are the cancer types where CXorf58 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
