Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CXorf56 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CXorf56 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher CXorf56 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CXorf56 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
PRAD are the cancer types where CXorf56 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
