Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CXCL6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CXCL6 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher CXCL6 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CXCL6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, SKCM, and LUAD are the cancer types where CXCL6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
