Across TCGA cell cohorts, CTSC RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,475 significant associations in total. BREAST shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CTSC-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of extracellular matrix disassembly, Negative regulation of proteolysis, and Morphogenesis of a branching structure. Each is linked with CTSC in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CTSC-to-partner and partner-to-CTSC results are reported.
