Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CTNNA3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CTNNA3 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher CTNNA3 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CTNNA3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC are the cancer types where CTNNA3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
