Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CT45A10 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of CT45A10’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where CT45A10 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types CT45A10 is over-expressed in tumor.

HNSC, BRCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where CT45A10 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
