Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CRYZ Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CRYZ data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher CRYZ Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CRYZ expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where CRYZ Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
