Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CRYM mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CRYM data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher CRYM mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CRYM expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and COAD show a favorable association.

CCRCC, COAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where CRYM mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
