Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CRY2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CRY2 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher CRY2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CRY2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and CCRCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, PDAC, and GBM are the cancer types where CRY2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
