Across TCGA patient cohorts, CRY2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,522 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CRY2-associated genes across cancer lineages are KAT2B, PREPL, and LCA5L. Each is linked with CRY2 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CRY2-to-partner and partner-to-CRY2 results are reported.
