Across TCGA patient cohorts, CRP mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,709 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CRP-associated genes across cancer lineages are NIPA2P2, MRPL39, and ATP5PF. Each is linked with CRP in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CRP-to-partner and partner-to-CRP results are reported.
