Across TCGA patient cohorts, CROT protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7,695 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CROT-associated genes across cancer lineages are TP53TG1, PON2, and SYPL1. Each is linked with CROT in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CROT-to-partner and partner-to-CROT results are reported.
