Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CROCCP5 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of CROCCP5’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where CROCCP5 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types CROCCP5 is over-expressed in tumor.
LUAD, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where CROCCP5 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
