Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CRISP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CRISP1 data layer compared with 15 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CRISP1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CRISP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where CRISP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
