Across TCGA patient cohorts, CREM protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,224 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CREM-associated genes across cancer lineages are PXMP4, MED7, and TMEM9B. Each is linked with CREM in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CREM-to-partner and partner-to-CREM results are reported.
