Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CREB1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CREB1 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where higher CREB1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CREB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
PAAD and UCEC are the cancer types where CREB1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
