Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CR1L RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CR1L data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher CR1L RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CR1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and SCLC show a favorable association.
SKCM, SCLC, and LGG are the cancer types where CR1L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
