Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CPM Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CPM data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher CPM Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CPM expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
LUAD, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where CPM Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
