Across TCGA cell cohorts, CPE RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,447 significant associations in total. OESOPHAGUS shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CPE-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of syncytium formation by plasma membrane fusion, Regulation of myoblast fusion, and Negative regulation of syncytium formation by plasma membrane fusion. Each is linked with CPE in more than 14 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CPE-to-partner and partner-to-CPE results are reported.
