Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COX8C RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated COX8C data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher COX8C RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COX8C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and CESC show a favorable association.

UCS, MESO, and CESC are the cancer types where COX8C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
