Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COX8C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated COX8C data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher COX8C Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COX8C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

STAD and LUSC are the cancer types where COX8C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
