Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COX7C RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated COX7C data layer compared with 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher COX7C RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COX7C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and KIRC show a favorable association.
UCS, MESO, and LUAD are the cancer types where COX7C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
