COMT

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, COMT protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,438 significant associations in total. CCRCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible COMT-associated genes across cancer lineages are RTCB, BCL2L13, and HPS4. Each is linked with COMT in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both COMT-to-partner and partner-to-COMT results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, COMT versus RTCB in HNSC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.26.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (COMT→partner) and Y-score (partner→COMT) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
