Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COL6A2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated COL6A2 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher COL6A2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COL6A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
THCA, UCEC, and LIHC are the cancer types where COL6A2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
