Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COASY Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated COASY data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher COASY Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COASY expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.
READ, LUSC, and BLCA are the cancer types where COASY Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
