Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COA7 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated COA7 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher COA7 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COA7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and COAD show a favorable association.

LUAD, COAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where COA7 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
